It’s been gone but not forgotten! We haven’t gathered any of this data for several years now. We were at an impasse as to whether the information was benefitting anybody, simply because we were getting very few surveys back. We have decided to try something new this year by having it available at all of our CE events in the hope that we might get a better response. The draw back to this approach is that final results may be relatively skewed because it is only getting to a limited amount of  LVTs or assistants. You can help get this survey out to more numbers by taking a copy with you back to your clinic and encouraging your peers to fill them out and return them. Hopefully, we will also have it up on our website soon (wsavt.info) so that it can be printed out and mailed in.  We know that no one likes to fill out surveys, yet the information we obtain is invaluable for letting you know what to ask for and expect in terms of earnings and benefits.

So… to thank you for filling out the survey, we will enter you for a chance at our raffle prize: FREE registration to the annual WSVMA/WSAVT Fall conference to be held in Yakima! We must have a completed survey for eligibility for the prize. Take a moment to do it now and return it to the WSAVT CE coordinator on site, or you can mail it in at a later time. We are limiting the survey to those whose daily job description is primarily that of a veterinary assistant or a veterinary technician.  If you are licensed, but no longer working in a technician position, or no longer working in the field, we cannot use that information.  Survey results will appear in a future issue of Tech Tracks .
