Rebecca Rose, CVT, Certified Career Coach, cares about and understands veterinary teams. She graduated from Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, CO in 1987 with a degree in veterinary technology. She is the president and founder of CATALYST Veterinary Professional Coaches, LLC. Rebecca’s career in the veterinary community is quite diverse, making her an expert in team development and creating an enjoyable work environment. She has worked as a veterinary technician at a mixed animal practice, was the first paid administrator to the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians (CACVT), provided relief technician services throughout the state of Colorado, and she managed two AAHA-accredited veterinary practices. Rebecca’s role in leadership includes industry council experience and extensive association participation including president of both the CACVT and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA). She presents at local, state and national Veterinary Medical Associations, facilitating interactive workshops. Her musings can be found within veterinary magazines, industry reports, and blogs. Her book, Career Choices for Veterinary Technicians, originally published in 2009 by AAHA, is in the process of being updated with a little help from her friends! She is STOKED to be working with a stellar team and looks forward to rolling out the 2nd Revised Version later this year. Rebecca finds great joy in assisting veterinary teams in reaching their highest potential to THRIVE!
